The RealeSeller™ Distribution List Feature
Since Prospects, Properties, Agents, and Companies are all
Contact type Outlook folders, they too have the ability to contain Distribution
Lists. For this reason, we have added the capability to preview Distribution
Lists from a RealeSeller view.
RealeSeller has added a spouse and assistant E-mail address field. Since there
is no way to make Outlook "aware" of these new fields, you will need to use the
RealeSeller view to add members if you wish to add the spouse or assistant
e-mail fields to a Distribution List. Outlook normally updates the distribution
list when a contact's e-mail address changes, however since Outlook is not aware
of these new fields, the Update Now button will update any email addresses that
have changed (if they were added through our view).
To do this, (from a RealeSeller folder such as Prospects or Agents) click File,
New, Distribution List. Give it a name and save it. It will then show up in the
RealeSeller grid. Since a distribution list does not have a first and last name,
look for the name of the distribution list to appear under the first name
column. It will be prefixed with the word Distribution List, so all distribution
lists will appear grouped together.

The
contact card icon indicates a distribution list member that is linked to a
prospect.
The
address card icon indicates either a statically added distribution list member
or a member whose record no longer exists.
To add an existing member, click Select Members. Select the folder that contains
the person or persons you want to add. Find the person you wish to add and
double click the e-mail address or e-mail addresses that you want to add to the
distribution list. Then click Ok.

To add a static member or a member that does not yet have a record in Outlook,
click Add New. This allows you to enter a name and e-mail address and optionally
create an record for it in the Prospects or Contacts folder.
