The RealeSeller™ Prospect View

The
Prospect View:
RealeSeller has a completely new and expanded "Contact" view that we call the Prospect view.  As you can see below, this new view has multiple tabs and dozens of extra fields for more details on your prospects.  Items  including mortgage information, financing data, Dream Home information and with notes and picture features way beyond anything Outlook can provide.  Read below about how you can use these powerful extended features.

Some New Fields:
A few changes were made to the version 3.0 prospects window.  Notice you have four new items below the Name fields.  Lead Type, Lead Status, Lead Source, and Lead Urgency.  This means you can add any of these new fields to the grid for sorting and quick lookup.  There are now 2 extra email address fields.  This gives you more selections beyond the 3 standard email addresses.  Spouse email address and Assistant email address are now available as selections.

Name Fields:
When entering a name for the first time, if it is more than just a first and last name, press the Full Name button and enter data in a structured visual format or it may not display properly in letters, etc.  The window has everything separated into fields.  This helps keep down the confusion.  Outlook has problems sometimes figuring out names.  The Spouse button has the same feature.  Using this window helps prevent confusion:

The Address Field:
The Address field can be confused just like the names.  It is safer to press the address button and use the fields it provides to make it clear to Outlook exactly how the address is structured.  This window will be displayed if you decide to use it:

Add a map image:
Once you have added a valid address entry, you could add a map to your list of images for this prospect.  You need to be connected to the Internet, then press the Map button or .  Your web browser will be launched and if the address is recognized by MapPoint, a map image will be displayed.  Right-click the image, then select Copy.  Now right-click the image area on the RealeSeller image viewer.  Select Paste as New Image.  When the small window opens, type a name for the map (named  Map to home  here).  Press Ok.  Now you have a map to that address any time you need it.

New Owns button:
The only other item on this part of the view that needs a little explanation is the Owns button.  If you are adding the prospect information as part of a listing, the Owns button allows you to browse to a property that has already been added to your list of properties, then links it to this prospect.  Most of the time you can create a new prospect first, then RealeSeller has the ability to create a basic property from the information you entered.  If the property address is the same and you have the option selected in the RealeSeller options menu to create a new property from the prospect information when you create a new prospect, then you should see a prompt like this when you save the prospect information:

Press the Ok button to create a new property.  Note that it is possible if you typed in more than one type of address for the prospect to create a property for each address.  Just put a check next to the box or boxes if you choose to do that.  In this case we only have one address, so Home is checked by default.

The Prospect Details View:
This tab contains some important fields that can help you keep up with your prospect.  The prospect, spouse, and children's birthday entries generate reminders so you can send out birthday cards every year.  If you don't put a check in the box after the child birthday it will not generate a reminder.  There is also room for a couple's anniversary if you ask for it.  This is a very impressive way to keep up with people on your prospecting list.  Most people don't mind giving you this information.  All you have to do is ask for it.  RealeSeller will create events automatically so you will be reminded each year.

The Prospect Mortgage View:
Entering information in this view will allow you to calculate approximate values for a great many things using the RealeSeller calculator.  The fields are self-explanatory:
