 Templates and Colors
(See the section on "Getting Started" before reading this section.)
Selecting a template: In the first drop down box at the top of the window, select a template
(1). In this example we are choosing
the Blue and White template. When you create a template you can name it
anything you want. Most of these were made by different people. Once
you select the template, the view is loaded immediately and most of the default
information is filled in and selected automatically. While your home
images as well as your logo and agent picture will be different, if you choose
the Blue and White template you should see something similar to the first view.
This view also has a maximum of 3 images you can use. While you can choose
to use this template with only one or two images, it really does look its best
with three.

Saving a template: Once you make all of the changes to a loaded template, you can save it
(2) and use it for other properties.
Only the template design features are saved. No data or pictures related
to the property are saved during this process. This allows you to create
your own custom versions of any template used in this system and then reload and
use them at any time in the future.
Editing The Flyer Text Colors (General): By default, most colors used for text in any template are the same. This
doesn't have to be that way. Every text item can have a separate color, or
you can simply change all of the text colors to something you like. Many
times this is necessary when you change the over-all theme color of a template.
Most templates have a color theme and that color is used in all areas of the
template. To change a text item color, select the name of the text from
the drop down list. (See here for all selections)
Next, select the color button (1).

You should see a color selection window
like this:

Left-Click the color you like and the text will change when the color selection
window closes. Click Here
to learn more about the color selection window. The Page Back Color
is the one item listed in this drop down list that is different from the others.
You can set the whole page background to a solid color or you can make it
transparent. To choose transparent you will need to read about the
special
color selector written for the Flyer Creator. The Background colors in the
next section can override this background color according to the section their
area covers up. Just think of it as layer's of coloring. This is the
bottom layer and other layer's for the various selections can be on top of it.
Changing The Flyer Background Colors (Background): By default this color is
often white, but it depends on the template. In the drop down list of
background areas, you might see only 2 or as many as 6 different background
areas listed. Currently there is no way to know exactly what background
area goes with any item in the list except by experimenting. This issue is
being worked on and will hopefully have a solution soon. For now, select
an area, press the color button and choose the color you like. A part of
the page will take on the color you chose. Remember that too many colors
at once usually make for an ugly flyer.

Modifying The Flyer Phone Number Colors (Phones): Behind the
scenes the phone number text is treated a little differently than regular text
so there is a separate section that allows you to colorize the phone numbers.
Most areas contain a single simple text item. In the case of phone numbers
there could be several numbers displayed at once. Simply use the color
selector to pick your color. Each phone number can be a different color
which is the reason for the special "Phones" section.
