The Color Selection Window
This special window was created in order to make it as easy as possible to change colored items used in the Flyer Creator.  There are only a couple of hidden features that are not obvious and this section is designed to familiarize you with their use.

Selecting a color:
As you can see in the image above, the color selector isn't like other's you might have seen before.  It is actually a combination of several color selection menu's merged into a single window to make it easier to use.  There are a few "tricks" (key presses) you need to know in order to use a couple of its features, but it really isn't complicated.  Selecting a color is simple... just point the mouse at the color and press the left mouse button.  Your color will be applied to the item you selected to edit.  Use the guide text and what is pointed to in the above image for reference.

If none of the colored squares contain the color you want to use, you can try moving your mouse slowly across the rainbow section at the bottom.  Watch the box at the top left to see the current color under your mouse pointer.

Choosing a color without closing the window:
If you use the right mouse button to click a color, it will be placed in The color selected box.  The HTML number used to represent the color used by the browser to color the item is noted when you right-click a color.  You can also click in the HTML color text box and type in an HTML color if you know what it is.  Many programs like Paint Shop Pro and others, show the HTML color codes.  After you type in the color, you might want to save it.  Read the next section on how to do this.  To use the color simply left-click the color selected box.

Saving a color:
There are 10 Saved color boxes that allow you to save a unique color that you may want to use over and over again.  To save a color, use the right-click method above to put a color into the color selected box.  Once you have the color in the box, choose one of the 10 Saved color squares and press the shift key and left-click the square.  This will add the selected color and it will be available every time you open this color selection window.  If you right-click the saved color square the color will be cleared.  Pressing the small button with the image of a monitor with a white screen in it will clear all the custom colors.

Transparent selection:
There are times when you want certain areas of the flyer to be transparent.  This is especially true when you use a background image.  To set an area of the flyer to transparent, press the small button with the image of a monitor with a green screen in it.  There isn't much point to setting a text color to transparent, so don't bother with that.
