The RealeSeller™ Company View The Company View: RealeSeller has a completely new view called the Company View. As you can see below, this new view has some extra fields for more details on the companies you have day to day dealings with. Those details include the Company name (1), Main Contact (2), and an Assistant name (3). You also have activities associated with the company, and attachment details. With notes and picture features way beyond anything Outlook can provide, everything from A to Z is covered. Read below about how you can use these powerful extended company specific features. ![]() Address Field: When entering an address for the first time, press the Address button and enter data in a structured visual format or it may not display properly in letters, etc. The window has everything separated into fields. This helps keep down the confusion. Outlook has problems sometimes figuring out addresses. Using this window helps prevent confusion: ![]() Notes (6): It is always a good idea to keep some notes about every conversation you have with someone. This is good practice as the last note is always at the top of the list. It keeps a reminder about your conversations and is a good way to prove you spoke with someone at a particular date and time. Add Images (7): You could add a picture of the main contact if you have one and once you have added a valid address entry, you can even add a map to your list of images for this company.
Press the Web Page button to open Internet Explorer if you want to browse to the web page in order to add it. If you know the URL you can simply type it in. ![]() Categories (8): This is probably the most under utilized feature in Outlook. If you add one or more categories to any type of contact or property item, it makes it very easy to filter out everything but what you are looking for. If you have 50 different companies in the companies folder and only 5 of them are Inspectors, how could you get a short list displayed quickly without having a category? Short answer, you can't. But, using the filter property built into the list view, you can select category, and type in Inspector, hit the enter key and instantly all items with a category of Inspector will be displayed. This is the fastest and easiest method you could use for displaying only those items that fit into a defined category. Try using this feature and you will find you won't be able to live without it. Custom Fields: There are 10 custom fields that you can name anything you like and they can contain any type of information. The first four fields will sync with your PDA, so keep that in mind when you decide what you want to use them for. The custom field names can be changed in the options menu, under Company Options. |
