How
to Apply RealePlans™
Applying a RealePlan:
First, select a Property or Prospect.
Now you have 3 choices in the way you want to do this. This simplest
choice is to simply right-click your selected property or prospect. Then
select Apply RealePlan as seen in the image below.
You can then skip to the Plan Wizard window as seen
below...

Or you can
Right-Click the RealePlans Icon and choose "Open in a new window"
(This is the easiest way to understand this process. You don't actually have to
open it in a new window, but this keeps everything in one view). Once the
window opens, select the RealePlans Templates tab.
The Plan Wizard window will show and look like this:

In this case I am going to apply a plan to a prospect and
the plan is called Buyer Follow-up.
If you have created other plans and put them in other plan folders, you can
select the one you need from the drop down list. In this case I only have one
plan folder called RealePlans.
Select the Buyer Follow-up plan and then click the Next button.
Now your RealePlan Wizard will look like this:

Next, you can choose not to apply parts of
the plan by simply unchecking the box next to the plan item. Press the
Next button when you finish.
Now your RealePlan Wizard will look like this:

Next, if you haven't selected a prospect from your
prospect list, you need to press the prospect browse button and select one. If
this were a property plan, you would browse to the property you wanted to apply
this plan to.
Press the next button when you finish.
Now your
RealePlan Wizard will look like this:

Lastly, you have the Confirm settings window. In
this case it says "Apply this plan on: 04/21/2008 and Apply plan 'Buyer Follow-up' to
Prospect: Theresa Thompson
and to Property: 10230 SW 173; Perrine, FL, 33157." The property may not be
involved in the plan or it might be. What the plan does will depend on that. In
this case everything is fine. Press Finish. You will see a progress bar and then
the window will close. You have applied a RealePlan.
If you want to verify that the plan has been applied, you can find it on the
Applied RealePlans tab, or you can look in your task
list for the tasks, or if the plan contains appointments, you will see them in
your calendar. Remember, tasks don't show up in the calendar and most of the
items are all tasks in the example plans that come by default in RealeSeller.
There is a step by step tutorial in the help file that will explain
how to make a plan if those
provided don't suite your needs. They were meant to be generic and give you
ideas on how plans can be used and created.
Once you have created a plan, you can forward it to everyone in the office if
you want to. You can also save it to a disk and distribute it that way. If it is
mailed, the person that received the plan just needs to double-click it and
select to open it. At that point it will be imported to your Plans folder
automatically. Very fast and easy.
