The RealeSeller™ Agent View The Agent View: RealeSeller has a completely new and expanded "Contact" view that we call the Agent view. As you can see below, this new view has multiple tabs and many extra fields for more details on agents you do business with. Read below about how you can use these powerful extended features. ![]() Name Fields: When entering a name for the first time, if it is more than just a first and last name, press the Full Name button and enter data in a structured visual format or it may not display properly in letters, etc. The window has everything separated into fields. This helps keep down the confusion. Outlook has problems sometimes figuring out names. The Spouse button has the same feature. Using this window helps prevent confusion: ![]() The Address Field: The Address field can be confused just like the names. It is safer to press the address button and use the fields it provides to make it clear to Outlook exactly how the address is structured. This window will be displayed if you press the Address button: ![]() Add a picture: One picture whenever possible can save you from wondering what someone looks like at a glance. Putting a picture and a name together when you are discussing business on the phone really makes a difference sometimes. I make a habit of trying to collect a picture of every agent I speak with as often as possible. These images can often be obtained from a web site owned by the agent, or maybe the local association has pictures of agents. Once displayed in your browser, just right-click the picture and choose Copy. Then go to the image display in RealeSeller and right-click the picture viewing area. Select Paste As New Image and a window with your copied image will appear. Type in a name for the image (I usually type in the first name of the agent or agents if it is a team) and press the Ok button. Now you have something to remind you. Custom Fields: There are 10 custom fields that you can name anything you like and they can contain any type of information. The first four fields will sync with your PDA, so keep that in mind when you decide what you want to use them for. The custom field names can be changed in the options menu, under Agent Options. Notes: Always take notes. Most of us do not have perfect memories and typing a quick note either during or after a conversation with an agent or their assistant really will save a ton of wasted time if you forget something important. The Agent Details View: This tab contains some important fields that can help you keep up with detailed agent information. How impressive would it be to send cards or make a phone call on the agents birthday (1), anniversary (2)? How about remembering the names of their children (3). A reminder for a child's birthday is optional (4). All of this can be at your finger tips. If the agent works in a large office, you might want to keep information on their assistant as well as other professional data (5). You never know when this information will come in handy. You can never have enough details about people you work with. We have also exposed the File As: (6) field in case you want to change the way the name is saved. ![]() |
